Grizzlies win three-straight, take out Timberwolves 118-107

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Grizzlies, set for the middle game of a three game road trip, try to continue their winning streak at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Grizz have won two in a row. The Twolves, are 3-6, are last in the West, but are coming off a win over the Spurs Sunday.

DeAngelo Russell was a problem for the Grizzlies early on, seven straight points to start the game, 25 for the contest. Karl Anthony Townes is always a load, whether in the paint or beyond the arc. KAT with 25.

The Grizz take a little time to get going, but when they do - look out! Dillon Brooks starts the game 1-10 but heats up in the clutch, nine for Dilly. He has plenty, and I mean, PLENTY of help.

Jonas Valanciunas playing like the big man he is. The big game, 24 points, and 16 rebounds. Grayson Allen finding his stroke, not just from downtown, but in the lane.

Season-high 20 points for Grayson off the bench. Brandon Clarke fully healed from a pre-season groin injury. BC doing BC things, 19 points, nine rebounds. Make it three wins in a row for the Grizzlies!

Final score, 118-107. Griz, now 5-6, stay in Minneapolis to meet the Twolves again Friday night.
