MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Training camp opened Thursday for teams in the United Soccer League Championship Division but it’s not exactly how you’d think.
Teams, like Memphis 901 FC are required to quarantine in their markets for the first few days, with COVID-19 testing a priority, along with Zoom meetings and the like.
The Boys in Blue will hole up for a few days before taking the pitch for practice at AutoZone Park and Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
901 FC opens the USL season with six matches on the road starting May 15 at Birmingham Legion.
Their home opener is Saturday, June 16 against Atlanta United Downtown at the Zone.
