MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The US Capitol was placed on lockdown due to a security incident Friday afternoon, according to multiple news sources.

The suspect involved in ramming his car into a US Capitol barricade has died.

One of the U.S. Capitol Police Officers attacked outside the Capitol today has died, according to officials.
