MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A suspect is in custody after Shelby County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into a deadly shooting that happened early Monday morning.
According to SCSO, Jeffery Boyle, 30, has been charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, tampering with evidence and possession of controlled substance with intent to sell/manufacture.
Officials identified the victim as 30-year-old Reginald Palmer, Jr. He was found shot to death inside a car.
It happened at 3:20 a.m. Monday morning in the 7200 block of Easterly Ln.
WMC Action News 5 crews on the scene saw deputies investigating a car that had been struck by several bullets.
