Memphis mourns the loss of community leader Arnold Perl
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Many Memphis leaders are mourning the death of the longtime, former chairman of the Airport Authority, Arnold Perl.
Perl served for 30 years, making sure FedEx had what it needed to succeed in the city.
Perl was an attorney with the Memphis firm Glanker-Brown. He died at age 81 in Houston. He also served as chairman of the effort to build FedEx Forum and delivered the arena on schedule and on budget in 2004.
