The first full recruiting class of the Lane Kiffin era is off to a strong start as the Ole Miss football team inked 22 signees for the Class of 2021 and closed the day at No. 18 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
The LSU and Alabama game that was originally scheduled for Nov. 14, but was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the Tigers football program may finally have a tentative date to make-up that game, according to a report from The Advocate newspaper.
Javon Ivory and Tahj Washington are both redshirt freshmen receivers for the University of Memphis. While neither played more than four games on last season’s Cotton Bowl squad, both will be counted on heavily if the Tigers are to make it back to a New Year’s Six Bowl or any bowl this season.
He thanked former head coach Mike Norvell, who recruited him, and the rest of the coaching staff for developing him into the player he is today, third all-time in receiving yards and touchdowns in UofM history.
