Grizzlies Bring in Paul George/2 SEC Stars to Pre-Draft Camp

With the Clock Ticking on the NBA Draft, the Memphis Grizzlies are making the most of their time on the Clock by scheduling Two Workouts this week.

The First Tuesday at FedExForum features a player most of us have never heard of, but who's stock is rapidly rising on all the Draft Boards..

His name is Paul George...

He played at Fresno State where he averaged right at 17 points and 7 Rebounds a game last season as a Sophomore.

Still unfamiliar?

That's O.K.

There's enough scouts out there, including those for the Grizzlies, who rate him as a Top 10 Talent..

At 6'9", 215 pounds, George can play either the Shooting Guard or Small Forward positions..

Just 20-years old, believe me, he does NOT lack for confidence in his game...or what he could do for the Grizzlies.

Also working out for the Grizzlies today, J.P. Prince, the former White Station High who started his College career at Arizona, then finished his last 3-years at Tennessee.

Joining him in the workout, Mississippi State Guard Barry Stewart..

Both players know their journey into the NBA is not guaranteed...and that adds to their motivation.

The Grizzlies currently have the 12th, 25th, and 28th picks in the First Round...

The NBA Draft is Thursday night..

The Grizzlies are hosting a Free Draft Party for the Fans at FedExForum.

Doors open at 5:30pm Thursday, June 24th.
