ASHBURNHAM, MA (WHDH/CNN) - Nearly two feet of snow coated parts of Massachusetts over the weekend after a winter blast hit the East Coast just in time for Halloween.
Crews were out overnight trying to clear the more than 20 inches of snow that fell in Ashburnham, MA.
"The roads are slick, heavy," said Calvin Watson, a man who helped shovel snow off the roads. "It was nonstop all night - all night until about 3 a.m."
Overnight damage is extensive with widespread power outages throughout the state.
