MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Three teens are behind bars after Shelby County deputies found about 85 illegal mushrooms in two cars at White Station High School on Wednesday.

Deputies arrested three teens, ages 16, 17, and 18, and seized the two vehicles from campus.

"We need to put a stop to it and take better control of these kids," said grandparent Clark Scott.

Students told administrators the three were selling narcotics in the parking lot. That's when administrators searched the cars and found the illegal mushrooms.

The Shelby County Narcotics Unit arrived at school just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, arrested the students, and took possession of the vehicles in question.

"They need to stop it. Children get involved in too much stuff now," said parent Gail Wiggins.

Parents say they hope this incident doesn't reflect negatively on the White Station students working hard to stay out of trouble. They applaud officers for working quickly, and arresting those allegedly dealing drugs.

SCS says the drugs never entered the school.
