MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff's Office deputies are on the scene at White Station High School for precautionary reasons after a threat was made against the school.
Monday, deputies went to the school to investigate a threat written on a bathroom wall. In the threat, a student said they would shoot up the school on November 17.
Deputies said the threat was not credible and that parents were notified of the threat soon after it was discovered.
However, in an abundance of caution, investigators were on hand Thursday morning to make sure school went smoothly and all students remained safe.
