MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A brand new riverboat will make Memphis one of its first destinations.
The inaugural cruise will leave New Orleans on October 6 and head to Beale Street Landing in Memphis, according to Memphis Business Journal.
American Cruise Lines will launch American Song, its newest riverboat, in September.
The four-story American Song riverboat will host 184 passengers.
The first cruise will be an eight-day voyage, including visits to Vickburg, Natchez, and Baton Rouge.
The riverboat will also make several trips from Memphis back to New Orleans. Those include October 13, October 27, November 10 and November 24.
Passengers will be able to stay two nights at the Guest House at Graceland along with VIP tickets to Graceland for a discounted package price.
Cruises down the river start at $4,925 per person for October dates.
